Teddy Bear Toss Raised $1100

Friday night was the annual Alliston Hornets Teddy Bear Toss. This year the Toss was sponsored by Barrie Chrysler.
At 12:29 of the first period Ben Taylor scored the first Hornets goal of the game and the crowd of over 430 people threw approx 120 bears onto the ice. Along with the bears we were able to raise $550.00 ( matched by Barrie Chrysler for a total of $1100.00) donated to the Simcoe County Paramedic Services Toy Drive. The bears and funds will help families in Simcoe County have a better Christmas this year.
We want to thank Christy Fines, Jessica Puddifant and the other representatives from Barrie Chrysler for their support and a special Art Nolan and his colleagues from Simcoe County paramedics for being present at the game. Most of all we want to thank our fans for their support in making the Teddy Bear Toss a success!
